How to clean lights and fixtures?

Light fixtures are one thing that can set the tone of a room, it is very important to clean them, if you find your light fixtures dirty. These can affect the lighting of the room as well as leave a bad impression about you. Even though you have cleaned the whole house and just didn't pay attention to the light fixture it will seem as if you have done nothing. Recessed Lighting

Recessed lights can be cleaned very easily, when you decide you want to clean them to make sure that these lights are switched off and hour before then when they have cooled down, take a dry cleaning cloth and dust it. If you want to give it a deep cleaning, then carefully remove the bulb and then use a slightly damp cloth to clean the inside of the recessed area while house cleaning.

 

Chandeliers

During the house cleaning process if you have chandeliers at home they never look pretty if they are cleaned regularly, in fact they cause you embarrassment in front of your guests. You can make a mixture of ¼ cup of vinegar and about 3-4 cups of water and fill it in a spray bottle and spray it on the chandelier and wipe it clean or else you can remove the parts of the chandelier and soak the parts of the chandelier in the solution and then wipe it clean and let it dry before putting them back on. 

 

Light Bulb:

During the  house cleaning cleaning process to clean a light bulb all you need to do is take a dry cloth and wipe the dust of the bulb but if you want to do a deep cleaning then use a damp cloth to clean the bulb. 

 

Glass Fixtures:

During the house cleaning if you want to clean the glass fixture, first lay a sheet and place a staircase on top of it, then carefully unscrew the glass and take it down, empty the dust that has been collected in the glass bowl and wash it with soapy water then place it on a towel to dry. Then use a damp cloth to wipe the inside of the glass fixture and the bulb, once cleaned use a dry cloth to dry it. 

 

Fluorescent Tubes:

During the house cleaning process  to clean the fluorescent tubes you need to take a dry cloth to wipe off the dust from them, then if you still find it dirty simply take a cloth and damp it then wipe your fluorescent tubes with that damp cloth, then wipe it with a damp cloth. Once it is completely dry then you can use it as normal.
