Limescale is the product of hard water. Hard water normally contains higher minerals than the normal water. These minerals attach themselves inside the plumbing pipes and even the toilet bowls. If you don’t do proper house cleaning then limescale can lead to plumbing problems if it is not removed regularly. Removing the limescale seem to be a daunting task but it can be accomplished with common household items.

House Cleaning Kenmore has got few house cleaning hacks to help you remove the limescale around your home.

If there is a limescale around your faucets, soak a paper towel in the vinegar and then wrap it around the faucet. Tie it with an elastic band and let the vinegar sit for at least an hour. Then clean it with a dry cloth.

2. Homemade Paste for Faucets

You can create a paste by using 1 part of paste and 3 parts of baking soda. Then rub it all over the limescale that has been created and let it sit for at least an hour. Lastly, wipe it with a dry cloth.

3. Vinegar for Coffee Makers

For house cleaning, the first thing you must do is fill your coffee maker with two cups of white vinegar and two cups of water. After that run the coffee maker through the cycle, rinse the carafe with the warm water and fill it again with the water and run for another cycle.

4. Vinegar for your Tea Kettle

Another house cleaning tip is to fill the tea kettle with the equal parts of water and vinegar. Boil the mixture for few minutes and then turn off the boiler. Let the kettle sit for at least for few hours and finally rinse it with the water.

If you want to clean the coffee maker then follow this house cleaning method by filling the water reservoir with hot water and then adding denture tablets. Let it fizz, run a complete cycle and rinse it. Run another cycle and clear it with clean water.

7. Vinegar for Your Toilet

There is another method for house cleaning and that is to pour lots of vinegar into the toilet bowl and let it soak for 30 good minutes (if there is lots of limescale then leave it for overnight).
