The easy and Non-toxic method to clean your shower curtain

Shower curtains are an essential for our showers, as they block the water from flowing in all directions out of the shower. 1. Baking soda

Try washing it in the washing machine with two bath towels in the soft setting. Add 1/2 cup of baking soda to the detergent during the wash cycle and 1/2 cup of vinegar during the rinse cycle. Let it drip, do not put it in the dryer. Instead let it air dry.

2. Bleach 

When house cleaning, remove mold and mildew from shower curtains. Wash them, along with a couple of bath towels to prevent the plastic curtains from wrinkling, in hot water with 1/2 cup of bleach and 1/4 cup of laundry detergent. Place the shower curtain and towels in the dryer on the lowest setting for 10 minutes, then hang them for drying.

3. Vinegar 

When house cleaning, Clean those nasty mold stains from the plastic shower curtain by putting them together with a couple of dirty towels in the washing machine. Add 1/2 cup of laundry detergent and 1/2 cup of baking soda to the load and wash it off with warm water during the normal cycle of the machine. Add 1 cup of  vinegar to the first rinse. Before the machine enters the centrifuge, remove the curtain and let it dry.

How often should you clean the shower curtain?

When house cleaning, you should wash your shower curtain more often than you think. After all, you come face to face with the shower curtain or plastic liner almost every day. Ideally, you should wash it once a month. Moreover, you should aim to clean the plastic shower curtain once every three months. For house cleaning process when you think about it, four or twelve times a year is not so frequent and the process shouldn't take long now that you know what to use to wash a shower curtain.
