Steps to Remove Coffee Stains:

- The first thing that you need to do to remove stains from your clothes is to run cold water through the back of the stains as it will keep the coffee residue to penetrate more into the cloths. Make sure during the house cleaning you need to continue to run the cold water from the back of the stain for at least 15 minutes. If the stain isn't fully removed, or your stain is old, move on to the second step.

- In the second step of the house cleaning you are supposed to rub the liquid laundry detergent and after that you have to run a cold water on the coffee stain. In case if you are not having laundry detergent in your house then you can use dish soap as an alternative. After this you have to let your stains get sit for 5-10 minutes at least. If you have got some old coffee stains on your shirt then you need to soak it in water and then rub it in the soapy water solution by using your fingers to lose the stain. Now during the house cleaning you need to soak it in the water for 30 minutes in the coldwater and then check the stained area. If you still see the stained area then you can repeat this process in warm water.

- If you still observe then you just have to take a plastic bucket and mix laundry detergent in equal parts along with the water and vinegar solution to create a paste solution. During the house cleaning when you will create the paste then you need to take a sample of it and apply it on a hidden area where you can test it to see if it discolors the fabric or not. If it’s working well then you can use a toothbrush to scrub the stain and then rinse.

- During the house cleaning process you need to apply the stain remover spray on the coffee stain and then let it stand for about five minutes then wash it normally. You can also use a gel stain remover that coats both sides of the stain on your clothes and it penetrates into the fibres of the clothing.

If the coffee stains still persist then you can repeat the process. For more tricks to remove coffee stains from the coffee mugs, click here.
